Bina Antarbudaya Meeting Chapter Malang

Yes, that day I had a meeting with Bina Antarbudaya Foundation in Malang Digital Lounge. Actually, I had planned weeks before I applied it as a Volunteer of the foundation collaborated with AFS Intercultural Exchange, a foundation focused on improving the cultural exchange among students worldwide. The meeting was actually started at 09.00 am and every person must bring foods by ourselves with not more than Rp. 10.000,-. I bought cheap bread in the traditional market where it was not far from my dorm. I got on my motorcycle to go the place.

The weather was so sunny, it made me so easy to be there. I arrived there lately, maybe 5 minutes late. As soon as I parked my motor in front of the building, I was quite confused where the meeting actually be held. I just went inside the building. Beautiful and handsome young students welcome me very warm. They guessed me that I am Nasrulloh. I was very sure that they have known me from my Whatsapp number. Then, I entered a small class. A number of young people gathered and sit in a pleasant seat.

One of the volunteers came and introduced to me. I saw many happiness aura in their face and of course very positive. The first explanation would be all about the introducing the foundation and what should we do then when we were being part of them. The programs they show are very good.

At the end of the meeting, we were asked to make a good action working in group surrounding the building. We decided to clean up the Pedestrian Bridge in Kayu Tangan area. Others took pictures of us as documentation and would be presented in from of the class after the action finished. Then, we presented in front of the class proudly. We believed that cleaning up the environment is compulsory for every single person in the world. The meeting did not only give me new knowledge, but also new friends. Thanks.
