English Speech for Children (Part 1)

Last January,  I accompanied my sister joining English competition at SMP 1 Darul Ulum Rejoso Jombang,  East Java.

It was her first experience joining such competition. Was she nervous?  Absolutely YES.  But,  I encouraged her to fight it because the fear must be fought back.

At first,  she did not want to join it as she was not confident with her ability. Then,  I successfully lobbied her to be able to present it.

The training was so hard. She often avoid my request to practice the speech. More and more,  I urged her to read and read.  Though she did not understand well.

Alhamdulillah, when it came to the competition. She presented well.  However,  there was a little faults created by her.  She lost some parts of the content. She cried as soon as she finished the speech.

I do hope that even though it was not a successful ending, she could be motivated to try again in the following competition.
