Delighted Meet Up
Yesterday, I had a meeting with my collegues from LPDP 84 and
celebrated my friend’s late birthday. One of my friends decided to choose the
place where we met. Karnivor restaurant was chosen as the meeting point. It is
located in Jalan Laksamana Martadinata, Bandung. My friend and I did not know
where it was. It was really uncommon for me to hear that name. Since we did
not know the public transportation to go there, then we took a Go-Car which was around 30
minutes. The street was
very crowded since the day was long holiday.
I tried to
look for in the Internet about the restaurant. One of the blog that I read
confirmed that it is one of the outstanding and popular restaurants in the city
which focus on the beef and pizza. For the price, I seems that you need to prepare more than
one hundred thousand. It would be easy for you to come together, so you could
share with your friends and would be cheaper. I was little bit confused with
the menu provided there because of my unfamiliarity menu. Almost all food is
western food.
I thought that the restaurant has been being renovated
because of the surface looks. As I came into the restaurant, I was amazed with
the old-fashioned design in every corner of it, from the wall till the
ornament. We were very excited to meet everyone there. When the waiters came to
our table, she noted every single menu we ordered. We ate the big pizza which
can be enjoyed by some people. While waiting for the food, we talked
everything, including about the campus, relationship,
career, and many thing. This made us a bond of friendship.
At 4.40 PM,
we decided to pray Ashar
and go home. We had planned to take Go-Car again before we arrived there. Yet,
my friend told us that we could take Angkutan in which Ledeng terminal
is the last destination. It was cheaper than taking the Go-Car. It was five
thousands rupiah. We saw the traffic jam in a way we went home. It was commonly
seen that the road was full of cars. Despite the crazy traffic, we were happy
with other passengers. By taking this transportation, I could understand the
city street in Bandung. Even though it was little bit difficult, but it could
make me
happy.
At the end of the day, I enjoyed Sate with my Madam
Kos and her family. They invited me to eat together. When Eid Adha came, all of
the members of the dorm were invited to eat together. As a newcomer, I was not
common joining this. But, I was very happy. Though I could not go home to
celebrate Eid Adha with the lovely family, this agenda little bit cured my
missing to my lovely family. The lesson-learned that I got was be kind to
everyone who cared of you even It was a little. The little things would be a
big thing, most importantly it delighted you. Thank you!
