Joyful Eid Adha 1438 H

I got up late this morning. You know what time? It’s 05.50. In the fact, I woke up at 5 O’clock, and I slept again and again. As a consequence, It made me hurry to go to the Al-furqon Mosque to pray Eid Adha, the sacrifice day. It took about 8 minutes to go there. However, I was so lucky that I still had the opportunity. Most people prayed takbir to The Most Gracious, Allah SWT. Though I was not in the first line, it was not late for me to pray.

The khatib told us that we had to imitate what Prophet Ibrahim had already done to his mostly loved son, Ismail. Allah SWT asked him to deliver his son as a gift for Allah SWT. Prophet Ibrahim is a sincere until he gave his best to Allah SWT. This is that we must follow as Ummah. He strongly believed that Allah’s choice is the best of the best choice. Moreover, Allah would change his son, Isma’il, by sheep which is from the heaven. From this, he delivered lesson-learned for us that are; Tauheed, sacrifices, being sincere person, tawakkal, and being a positive person. All of them are very greatly prominent for our life.

At 10 AM exactly, I went to Madam Arie’s house to take my books sent by my friend and mother. I really struggled up to go there. I had to take up to three public transportations. What I thought that I really wanted to have experience taking public transportation while looking around the city. Despite of the wrong way, but I greatly learned from it. It did not big matter for me, I still enjoyed the journey.

In the afternoon, Madam Arie’s family took me to hang out to Bakso Enggal Malang. I did not know whether it was from Malang or not. But it could be identified from kinds of meatball provided. The unavailability of noodle shows that it was from Malang. I guessed. The taste was delicious to eat. All visitors must stand in line to take the meatball. While queuing, several beggars turned to us to ask some money or sell their goods.

After having dinner together, they took me to go home in setiabudi street. How lucky I was! I was extremely thankful that I had brothers and sisters like them. Even though they are not my siblings, they are regarded as a very close family. I wish that all of them are good in everything. They even made my day colorful with their kindness. The lesson-learned from today is we have to be kind to everyone regardless of the age, tribe, religion or even social status. Most importantly, I wish this Eid Adha is able to improve our piety and sincerity.. Alhamdulillah. Wallua’lam bisshowab.
