Master Student at UPI Bandung
After
its two days-cancelation, today I could
register in the administration building of UPI, Bandung. Many people were
waiting for their turn when I arrived in the office. One of the staffs told me
that I had to go to the Graduate building to re-check my selection
number since my number was not able to open. I tried to see the front office
staff, Kang Darman. He is a good staff. He served me very well by printing my
LoA (Letter of Acceptance). Finally, I got student ID number and KRS (Kartu
Rencana Studi).
As soon as I got it, I
moved to another room for printing ID and taking a photograph. There, I met my
friends, LPDP awardees, sitting happily in the waiting room. It took, over all,
40 minutes to get ID student and KRS. Then, we went to Graduate Building to
look around and propose BA (book allowance) and LA (living allowance),
the two things which are the most-awaited by almost all awardees with my
friends. We would wait for ten-day office days.
After that, we shopped
in the toserba or supermarket which has low price so that people tend to
go there especially for student like me who seeks the low-price one. It is Borma Supermarket. My friend and I took Angkot
to go there. I saw many people took a trolley or market basket to put the
bought things. I walked around the supermarket to
find things I need such as hanger, iron, and other tools.
Time run so fast. Then, we decided to go back
to our homestay after one and a half hour shopping there by Angkot. It
was so heavy to bring all the shopping. As I arrived the homestay, I directly
fallen assleep till 5 pm. It was really nice experience shopping with my new
friend, Mas Satriyo, who are from Central Java. Thank you.
